Nudie Coconut Yoghurt

Okay, so it’s been a few months since I have posted anything on this website. This is mainly because I am settling into motherhood for the first time and enjoying every minute with my beautiful little boy. But today I sit down with a snack and the laptop in front of me while my little monkey is asleep and thought I would share one of my latest finds with you.

So a while ago you may have remembered me sharing information about Co Yo a coconut yoghurt alternative. Well I’ve just found another brand of coconut yoghurt which is just as yummy and a little cheaper!

A little while ago a new Woolworths was built down the road from our house. I decided to go check it out and as I always do when checking out a new shop, I took a leisurely stroll down every aisle looking for new or different allergy friendly products.

When I got to the fridge section my heart skipped a little beat as my eyes locked onto the tubs of Nudie Coconut Yoghurt. I immediately grabbed a tub out of the fridge and turned to the ingredients label to see if it was friendly for my tummy. All it contained was coconut water, cornflour and cultures!! No sugars, no additives and it was GF and DF! I quickly grabbed the snack sized tubs to check their ingredients and once again, no nasties! Whoo hoo! I grabbed them and put them in my basket with a massive grin on my face and raced home to eat one. Nudie had just made my day.

The texture is a little runnier to the Co Yo brand but I really don’t mind. It is a little cheaper and is only found at Woolworths according to the sticker on the top of the lid. (Update since this post was written… I can now find it in other supermarkets as well!)

So as I sit here with my bowl of fruit and Nudie coconut yoghurt topped with nuts and seeds I urge you to do the same…
