If you want to dine at restaurant offering flavour filled food, great service and most of all a menu that caters for sensitive bodies – then you might want to visit Panacea Restaurant on Halifax Street, Adelaide.

We went there for the first time with some friends and loved every moment of the dining experience. I was a little concerned when we had a glance at the online menu in the car on the way to the restaurant as the menu comprises of mediterranean dishes with a spanish emphasis and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. There are tapas and sharing plates to choose from but also single meals and entrée options. However, once looking at the menu carefully I noticed that there were gluten free and vegetarian options. (There was even an option for GF bread!)

I was able to order feeling quite confident after checking with the very friendly staff. These meals are a bit heavy/rich and large in size so I needed to be a little careful because although the food was free from gluten and dairy, my body still can be a little sensitive to those kinds of meals. I was fine though and felt very satisfied after the meal.

I would have to say that it was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time from a restaurant in Adelaide! We will definitely be returning and we’ve been raving about it to all of our friends!
