Organic Coconut Ice Cream

I have always loved ice cream but with eliminating dairy, refined sugar and gluten from my diet,  I had to give it away. Until… I discovered Coco Luscious Organic Ice Cream!!! I couldn’t contain my excitement when I found it in the freezer section of A Life Abundant Health Food Store in Magill. I wanted to buy all the flavours but Pete reigned me in and convinced me to try one flavour at a time! I decided on the mango flavour and it was delicious!

The ice cream is made from organic coconut milk and has no preservatives, additives, dairy, gluten, egg or nuts. The black labeled tubs are sweetened with agave nectar and the gold labeled tubs are sweetened with coconut sugar. It is a little treat every now and then.

After discovering this ice cream I started having a little nosey in the freezer section of my local health food store and supermarket to see if I could discover any other healthy treats. That’s when I found Co Yo Coconut Milk Yoghurt Alternative Ice Cream! It has some different flavours to Coco Luscious Organic Ice Cream. The vanilla and nutmeg one is my favourite!
